Beach SceneDare to be DifferentSOLD at recent art show fundraiser Foster Gallery Destin, FL I am so excited to announce my painting called "Dare to be Different" SOLD in a recent fundriaser for the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (CAA), a local arts agency that supports the arts.

The event was called "One Size Fits All" and features artists that are members of the art alliance to create two pieces of art on wood 10x10 panels for the sale.

My work "Dare to be Different" was among the panels that sold. Prints and cards can still be purchased. The event was held at the Foster Gallery of South Walton in Miramar Beach FL.  The painting is acylic on wood and features a single Rainbow beach umbrella among a row of blue ones with sand and dunes.

I was so thrilled to have my work on such a great book! "It was shocking to see it, I am so happy." The book reaches thousands of guests year round in their rooms and homes. I hope my art helps to promote the great beaches and tourism our area has to offer and at the same time reminding others of the great natural beauty we have been given to care for. Our sea life is so important. "What a great honor".

The original has been sold but we can get prints, cards and a variety of art products that feaure the "Happy Sea Turtle" including canvas gallery wraps, matted prints and even metal art and glass cutting boards! Order something from my art today!

My works have been on display this Fall and will remain until October 19th.

I was thrilled to have the opportunity to show my work to the community of Panama City Beach! Thank you to the newly formed Beach Art Group for their support of local art in our area. Check out their class schedule and more upcoming events!

The other canvas is titled “Beach Dreams” acrylic on canvas 30x40 an abstract of the shoreline and ocean. It is a calm, serene depiction of our beach and the cool, wonderful colors of sea glass and our emerald water.

Wow! I cannot believe I finally have a website and a blog just for my art! I am very blessed to be able to produce and sell art and want to share my works with everyone. Since this site it is so new, check back later in the Fall as I will be adding a print and notecard online store. Coming Soon!
